Papadi Lod

Kheechi/ Papadi Lod is a traditional Gujarati snack made primarily from rice flour, often enjoyed in a steamed form. The dough is prepared by mixing rice flour with water, cumin seeds, carom seeds (ajwain), salt, and a touch of oil, creating a smooth, pliable dough. This dough is then shaped into small balls or rolls and steamed until cooked. Kheechi has a soft, chewy texture and is typically served with oil, ghee, or pickles. It is a light and simple dish, often enjoyed as a breakfast item or as a snack.
