DELIVERY & SHIPPING POLICY
Please read the following terms carefully before placing your order. By completing a purchase with Pooja Foods (Pooja Caterers), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Delivery and Shipping Policy.
1. Dispatch & Courier Service
All orders are dispatched using a 24-hour courier service. Orders are typically despatched on the next available working day following order confirmation, subject to stock availability and the delivery date selected by the customer at the point of checkout.
2. Customer Responsibility for Receipt of Delivery
IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER TO ENSURE THAT SOMEONE IS THERE TO COLLECT THE FOOD DELIVERY.
As the delivery date is selected by the customer at the time of ordering, it is the customer's sole responsibility to ensure that a responsible person is present at the delivery address on the chosen date to receive and take possession of the order.
3. Food Safety & Packaging
All frozen food products are dispatched in secure, insulated packaging specifically designed to maintain appropriate temperatures and preserve the consumable quality of the food during transit under normal courier conditions. Pooja Foods takes all reasonable steps to ensure that products are safe and suitable for consumption upon delivery, provided they are received within the expected delivery window.
4. Food Suitability After 24 Hours of Dispatch
IMPORTANT NOTICE: If the food delivery is not received within 24 hours from the time it was dispatched, the products may no longer be suitable or safe for consumption. Pooja Foods cannot guarantee the quality, safety, or fitness for consumption of any products that have not been received within this timeframe.
Customers are strongly advised to ensure that arrangements are in place to receive their order on the agreed delivery date. If there is any uncertainty regarding availability on the chosen date, customers should contact us prior to dispatch to arrange an alternative date.
5. Non-Receipt of Delivery — Liability
The delivery date is chosen by the customer at the point of placing the order. If a delivery is not received — whether due to the customer's absence, failure to make arrangements for receipt, or any other reason within the customer's control — full liability for any resulting loss, spoilage, or waste shall rest solely with the customer.
Pooja Foods (Pooja Caterers) shall not be liable and will not compensate, refund, replace, or bear any cost whatsoever in respect of any order that is not received due to the customer's failure to be present at the delivery address on the chosen delivery date.
This policy applies without exception. By selecting a delivery date and completing your order, you accept full responsibility for ensuring the delivery is received.
6. Contact & Queries
If you have any questions regarding your delivery, or if you need to change your delivery date prior to dispatch, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests made in advance of despatch, but we cannot make changes once an order has been collected by the courier.
