Jeera Paratha

Jeera Paratha is a flavorful and aromatic Indian flatbread made from whole wheat flour and seasoned with cumin seeds (jeera). The paratha dough is prepared by mixing flour with water, salt, and cumin seeds, which are slightly toasted to release their warm, nutty flavor. The dough is then rolled out into thin discs, brushed with ghee or oil, and folded multiple times to create layers. After rolling out the layered dough, it's cooked on a hot tawa (griddle) until golden brown and crisp. Jeera Paratha is often served with yogurt, pickles, or any curry, making it a delicious and versatile accompaniment to any meal. The combination of the crispy texture and the distinct flavor of cumin makes this paratha a favorite for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
